As part of the a-n professional bursary scheme, Simon explored 3D imaging with photogrammetry to manipulate and modify his own data and digital selves. Selectively choosing and experimenting with data sets for use in the photogrammetry algorithms results in playful and unexpected outcomes for the generated self portraiture models and raises questions of how our digital selves can be shared online and modified beyond our own control.

Such techniques were utilised for the Phygital project in collaboration with the arts organisation Axis and the Cleft Lip and Palate Association to explore the fantastical self, stigma and representation.
