CLEFT: Funding from Above and Beyond
I'm delighted to have the kind support of the charity Above and Beyond who will be providing the funding for my arts initiative with the South West Cleft Service. With their support our team can move forward and organise arts opportunities in the Summer for patients connected to the service.
The first will take place at The Island, Bristol, on August 24th and 25th in collaboration with the talented sculptor Eleanor Crook. The psychology team including Dr Julia Cadogan will help to facilitate unusual opportunities for participants to explore their narratives and experience with regards to cleft with hands-on wax portraiture sculpture sessions.
