Reconstructive prosthetics. Amazing.

I am in my element today spending time with the maxillofacial reconstructive prosthetics team. The use of materials and craft in producing individualised prosthetics for patients makes me feel like a kid in a sweet shop getting to play around with the kit and lab tech - looking forward to learning more!

Amy Davey - soon to be maxillofacial scientist - excitingly will be collaborating on the cleft project and providing her expertise in materials science for hands-on public engagement activities.
